While this was once a mostly private journal for musings about satanism that I didn't share in my other journal, I've largely left such triflings behind. It has become instead a kind of solitary space for me to record some of my secret thoughts and desires, so that I can be totally honest with myself, where I have been, and what I wish to achieve. Often enough this means this is a "sex journal," although it is by no means exclusive to that. I'm being trained as a sub/slave and that will probably dominate the entries at this point, but I write about a variety of spheres of self-exploration: art, music, work, play, etc.
I am not interested in satanism as a variant of the various "New Age" or New Age-influenced occult practices. Some of my earlier entries were about looking into these currents, but I have moved on.
I tend towards skepticism and atheism, and although I am heavily influenced by LaVeyan satanism, I prefer to be called an "atheistic satanist" as opposed to "modern," due to the LaVeyan connotations associated with the latter. I am definitely not a traditional or theistic satanist. I am not interested in superstitions, the supernatural or occult metaphysics. Therefore, I hope to delineate myself from both Modern and Theistic Satanism.
I'm not especially interested in claiming a label for these ideas and I won't engage in petty debates over what it means to "be a real satanist." I'm not especially impressed with the state of the so-called "elite" satanic movement today, and my intent is not to provoke other satanists onto the defensive or offensive. I don't care what other satanists are doing. I find value in my project, a project I define as a satanic one, and that is the largest extent to which I may be considered a part of the contemporary satanic movement.
All the actual writings are friends-only, so feel free to add me as a friend if you're interested in keeping up or interacting. I welcome folks from any background, and I appreciate your input.
